Why do we use TABE?

Your scores on the TABE 11/12 are used by the LIEOC to determine if you have a good chance of being successful in the program in which you wish to enroll. Every academic and vocational program has established minimum reading and math scores that students should achieve. So, before you take the test, it’s a good idea for you to familiarize yourself with what the test looks like and how it works. Before you take the test, you should also take some time to review your basic skills. Please note: The TABE is a timed test.
